DCM can't generate a correct clock

Jump to solution
Hi, I have a problem with the DCM. I set the input clock 100MHz, output clock 133MHz. But the DCM generates the output clock 100MHz in the .v file. I use the ISE 14.3 and win7 64 bit.

Hi,

I have solved the problem. It may be  that the ISE 14.3 have some bugs on windows 7 64 bit. I install the ISE 14.7, and the problem has gone.

Hi @lhzh7

Which device are you using?

I used Spartan-6 and clocking wizard (DCM primitive) and inputted 100MHz and successfully generated 133MHz. See below for simulation snapshot:

Also attached clocking wizard IP.xco file for your reference.

Thanks,

Vinay
