How to get timing and logic resources of core from coregen?

Jump to solution

Hi,

My understanding that it is a black box. Does that mean we couldn't get a particular core's timing and logic usage?

Cheers

After you generate a core from CoreGen, you should see "View Resource Utilization" under "Actions" (circled in the snapshot below). Click that and it will do some processing and bring up a window with logic resources used.

For most of cores, you can also find performance (Fmax) and utilization information in the data sheet
