How to specify output of encryption

Jump to solution

Hi,

Are there any possible way 'encrypt' TCL command to output a speific file instead of replaceing the source?

TCL> encrypt -lang verilog -key ${KEY_FILE} -ext .vp ../../my_dir/my_file.v

This command generates ../../my_dir/my_file.vp.

Instead I want to specify the output file something like './my_file.vp' in the different directory.

Thanks.

According to the manual (UG835), 'encrpyt' command does not have any options to specify its output. Most of all, the original file is updaed if '-ext' option is not given and it can make lost of the file.

This is why I posed this question.

I see. Thanks on your comment.

@andoki

I guess specifying an output directory for the encrypt command is not possible

please refer the following link
