Is there a way to reorder the pins on a hierarchical symbol in IPI

My subject line pretty much describes the question.  I have a busy block diagram, and it could be cleaned up if I could just change the pin-out ordering on my hierarchical blocks.  It looks like the data is stored in a file with the extenstion ".ui".  Can this file be modified and read back in? (it does not look very friendly though).

It would be nice to add a feature to the tools to be able to select a pin, and right click, and select move location up/down.

So these help with generating and reading back the layout.

I guess you can write the layout and then read it back in.

Now I guess it comes down to figuring out how to modify the "filename.UI"

I haven't looked at layout outputs but I have played with the bd files plenty.

If you do a write_bd_tcl, the hierarchical instance get their own "preplace port" commands which look easy to modify for location management. Then you can source the new bd.tcl file to start your project.
