SDNet news

What is happening with SDNet? All information EXCEPT for forum entries have been removed like a crime novel mystery. Does anyone working at Xilinx have any information they're allowed to share?

Thanks.

Hi @toxup_1,

There is a new SDNet tool in development that is based on new open source P4 language. The new tool is considerably better in terms of utilization, throughput and latency compared to the old SDNet tool which was based on PX language.

This new tool is in Early Access at the moment and is in use by several customers.

Best Regards,

David

Hi David,

I am aware of the new SDNet based on P4. This has been know for a while now. What triggered a concern is that the official SDNet page seem to have disappeared without any explanation of why. I do have a customer who is very interested in SDNet and it is now my task to calm down my customer by providing proof that SDNet is in fact not being killed and is alive and well.
