we are using Vivado 2018.2, and like many users here around I'm encountering the infamous problem of the srcscanner.exe eating a lot of CPU and hanging Vivado at each file modification.
The problem is the same as described in many other threads, like for example https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Design-Entry/Vivado-2018-2-srcscanner-exe-fully-occupies-all-8-of-my/m-p/882824#M17955.
The problem is also described on AR# 69846, so I contacted Patch Inquiries to ask for a support, but they answered there's no patch about this.
There are references to an "hidden" workaround in https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Synthesis/Vivado-2017-2-srcscanner-delays-synthesis-for-a-long-time/m-p/788036.
Would it be possible to receive this non-public workaround from Xilinx experts?
