We are using write_checkpoint to save a DCP, but all the cells are flattened and "hidden". Do you know how to disable "hidding" of cells in a DCP?

Can you share the snapshot showing cells present in the project before writing checkpoint and missing when using DCP? Does the design has modules that are encrypted? When doing write_checkpoint, do you see any warnings in log file?

Hi, I found there is a "flatten_hierarchy" command in one of the tcl scripts, if you run vivado with flatten_hierarchy enabled, could that result in the cells showing up as 'hidden' in the DCP? We are not having any encrypted modules for this part. There are no warnings when writing checkpoint. Thanks!

What was the value set for flatten_hierarchy? If the value is set to full then you will see nets and leaf cells under top module name.
When you say hidden, do you see "?" symbol or the module is missing?

Hi, thanks for reply. The modules are missing, when using get_cells or get_nets commands, we can only see the leaf modules in our original design. We will try -flatten_hierarchy=none to see if that helps.

Hi, setting '-flatten_hierarchy none' does not help. The cells and nets are hidden in the DCP and whole module seems to be flattened.
