Re: project mode Vivado

Hello @avic,

To remotely access the RTL/XDC without copying them in project directory, you need to uncheck the 'Copy sources into project' dialogue box while adding sources to project (As seen in below snapshot)

Re: project mode Vivado

Hi,
You can also use the command add_files to add the rtl/xdc files into the project without copying them into the local project directory.

unlike import_files, add_files does not copy source files into the local project folder.

to know more on how to use add_files, please refer page 56 of following UG
http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2015_2/ug835-vivado-tcl-commands.pdf

Thanks,
Shreyas
