Re: How to high impedance setting for unused pins in vivado

Hi,

To set all unused pins to a high-impedance state in TCL use this command: "set_property BITSTREAM.CONFIG.UNUSEDPIN PULLUP [get_designs netlist_1]"

In GUI:  "Generate Programming File" in process tab -> properties -> configuration option -> Set Unused IOB Pins"

Above is from: https://forums.xilinx.com/t5/Vivado-TCL-Community/How-to-use-tcl-to-set-all-unused-pin-to-high-impedance-state/td-p/738417

Also here is an AR discussing how to set an output to high impedance: https://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/3030.html

I hope that helps!

Re: How to high impedance setting for unused pins in vivado

why do you want to connect unused pins to Vcc or gnd. The built in pull ups hold un used inputs in a stable place, its not like you old chips .
