partial reconfiguration license

Hello,

I am trying to synthesize a design in Vivado. I get this following error when running my tcl script:

The object 'run' does not have a property 'pr_configuration'

I guess this means I do not have the partial reconfiguration license. But I just uploaded a license and the attached picture shows my current license status. Could you please help me how I can solve this?

Thanks.

Hello @new_user1 ,

Based on the error, this is not due to the licensing.

Your license is fine.

So, to me, there is some sort of an issue with your tcl script.

I've moved this topic to our Vivado Tcl Community  Forum board, so see if the experts/community of this board can help you to resolve your issue.

Kind Regards,
Anatoli Curran,

From Vivado 2019.1, Partial Reconfiguration license checking was removed.

In a PR(DFX) project, before launching the runs, you should create a configuration in DFX(PR) Wizard.

The related example tcl commands:

create_pr_configuration -name config_1 -partitions [list dac_spi_i0:dac_spi ]
create_run impl_2 -parent_run synth_1 -flow {Vivado Implementation 2020} -pr_config config_1
