"GAP precedes node" critical warning after lock_design command"

Hi,

After implementing my design in a constrained Pblock, I lock my design using lock_design -level routing -export command, save the constraints , and re-implement it and I get this critical warning.

[Designutils 20-2257] A GAP precedes node 'CLEL_R_X16Y6/CLE_CLE_L_SITE_0_E_O' which is the start of a branch. A GAP node cannot precede the start of a new branch. To remedy this push the GAP into the branch. ["/<dir>/constraints.xdc":2]

Hi!

I am seeing similar warning when I try to fix the route during placement. I am using the implemented design and within the schematic I pick up the net which needs fixed routing.

Please share what is possible work around to fix this critical warning. In my design I need to fix the routing between the CAARY8 cell and F7MUX to keep the net delays constant.
