Jump to solution

Is there a download for just the IMPACT tool, standalone (for Windows OS) ?  A link would be appreciated!

Thanks.

With version 12.1, there is something called the "Lab tools" which contains Impact, and

unfortunately quite a bit more, but still less than the whole toolchain.  The download is

about 2 gigabytes if I recall correctly.  Xilinx could really learn a lesson from Lattice on

this one.  Lattice's standalone programming tool is about 30 megabytes to download.

@itpenguin,

The answer is still the same. You can go to the link https://www.xilinx.com/support/download/index.html/content/xilinx/en/downloadNav/design-tools/v2012_4---14_7.html and download the package for Lab Tools - 14.7 Utilities, which is around 1GB in size.

If you are willing to upgrade to Vivado, you can also go to https://www.xilinx.com/support/download/index.html/content/xilinx/en/downloadNav/vivado-design-tools.html and download the package for Vivado Lab Edition - Windows, which is around 600MB in size.
