Access FSL_S_EXISTS flag from SDK (C code)

Hello,

I have a C program I am running from SDK (11.5), and my microblaze has FSL. I would like to use the flag FSL_S_EXISTS to see if there is data to read (using 'getfsl()') before making the call. I do not know how to access this flag.
