Add library to standalone application rpu

Hello,

I want to add an external xml library for parsing xml files.

The library for libxml is- https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libxml2

The application is standalone and runs in RPU (must be standalone and not linux!)

I am having trouble transporting the library to the project. I get a bunch of errors after compiling the library and adding it to the project.

Can someone help?

Thanks

Hi,

I am trying to cross compile for platform arm r5 with the following configure options:

./configure --host=arm-none-eabi --build=none --target=arm-none-eabi --prefix=/home/ubuntu/Documents/libxml2/libxml2_arm CC=/tools/Xilinx/SDK/2018.3/gnu/armr5/lin/gcc-arm-none-eabi/bin/armr5-none-eabi-gcc --without-zlib

and I get the following error configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables

I'm sure armr5-none-eabi-gcc is an executable, what is the problem?

I get the following error in config.log:

gcc version 9.2.0 (GCC)
configure:3622: $? = 0
configure:3611: armr5-none-eabi-gcc -V >&5
arm-xilinx-eabi-gcc.real: error: unrecognized command line option '-V'
arm-xilinx-eabi-gcc.real: fatal error: no input files
compilation terminated.
configure:3622: $? = 1
configure:3611: armr5-none-eabi-gcc -qversion >&5
