Bug reports

Jump to solution

Is there somewhere that one can simple report bugs in Xilinx tools ? I don't need help, I just want to report a bug - specifically that on RHEL 7.2, editing the linker script in the SDK isn't very easy because the dialogue tables are shrunk - see below:

Those sections are pretty hard to read/edit...

Re: Bug reports

hi,

Can you let us know which version of SDK you are using?

Looking at the page 20 of http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2016_1/ug973-vivado-release-notes-install-license.pdf, it looks that RHEL 7.1 version is tested and supported Operating Systems.

If you see the issue with RHEL 7.1, you can send a reply so that we can replicate the issue and report it accordingly.

You can hand-edit the linker script by opening it with a text editor.

I'm using SDK 2016.1 and RHEL 7.2, not 7.1. Perhaps that's it. Well, maybe 2016.2 will fix it :)
