Does the opencv lib installed with Xilinx SDK support V4L camera?

Hello, I am trying to use opencv in Xilinx sdk and managed running the HelloWord example on the ZedBoard by mounting the opencv libs in the sdk installation directory to the target linux.  But when I tried to use a usb camera in the opencv application I failed to open the webcam. I want to know whether the lib installed with SDK support  the V4L camera. And do you have any other advice for me to solve the problem. Thank you in advance.

Re: Does the opencv lib installed with Xilinx SDK support V4L camera?

- What version of Vivado SDK you are using?
- What version of linux?

I have had no issues using a USB cam on a Petalinux distribution together with openCV.

Check if by plugging the USB camera you can see a /dev/videoX (X=0 usually).

EDIT: Also for linux related questions I think the linux forum is more appropriate.
