Download sources of GPL-derived gcc toolchain?

Hi,

where can I download the sourcecode of the GPL-derived gcc toolchain for the Zynq series ("arm-xilinx-linux-gnueabi")? I only find an encrypted binary release inside the Vivado SDK. This cannot be used to bootstrap inside headless CI systems.

Thanks and Greetings

Michael

@mfassb

https://github.com/Xilinx/gcc

Are you sure it is encrypted?

The github you linked is 5 years old...

More or less...

tar xf Xilinx_ISE_DS_Lin_14.7_1015_1.tar

find Xilinx_ISE_DS_Lin_14.7_1015_1 -iname "*edk*"

file Xilinx_ISE_DS_Lin_14.7_1015_1/idata/edk_0001.zip.xz

... aha, its a 7z-archive, not an xz... meh...

7za e Xilinx_ISE_DS_Lin_14.7_1015_1/idata/edk_0001.zip.xz

....password prompt...

@mfassb

I really am confused with what you are saying. This is compression, not encryption.

Gcc - it is correspondent to the ISE version you are looking (14.7), which is also 5 years old.

That said, please read this AR
