Error in SDK with FPGA Board

I'm not sure if this is the right forum but I created a design in Vivado 2018.3 and after, launched to SDK. I wrote code in SDK to run on my Zybo board but whenever I try to run it, I get the following error message:

Error while launching program: Could not find FPGA device on the board for connection 'Local.'

However, the device is read on my computer and the light on the board is on. How can I fix this?

Is your board connected directly to your board? Or is it remote, or via a virtual machine?

can you open XSCT in SDK, and do the following:

  • connect
  • targets

You should see the arm dap, and the pl. If not, then you should look at your cable drivers

My board is connected to my computer through a usb. I am running it on a 2017 Mac but I used boot camp to partition the hard drive so I can run Windows. I will try your suggestions, thanks!
