How to examine MFS file contents?

I created an MFS file as follows:

C:\Xilinx\xapp1026\KC705_150MHZ_64KB\HW\memfs>mfsgen -cvbf ../image.mfs 2048 css
images js yui generate-mfs index.html

****** xilmfs
****** SDK v2014.3 (64-bit)
**** SW Build 1034051 on Fri Oct 3 16:51:12 MDT 2014
** Copyright 1986-2014 Xilinx, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

main.css 744
board.jpg 44176
favicon.ico 2837
logo.gif 1148
main.js 7336
anim.js 12580
conn.js 11633
dom.js 10855
event.js 14309
yahoo.js 5354
generate-mfs 34
index.html 2383
MFS block usage (used / free / total) = 233 / 1815 / 2048
Size of memory is 1089536 bytes
Block size is 532
mfsgen done!

Then when I downloaded the image file to the board (step 5 on page 15 of this application note: http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/application_notes/xapp1026.pdf) on the serial console connected to the board I see:

"platform_init_fs: ERROR: unable to locate index.html in MFS
One of your applications requires a Memory File System to be loaded.
Please check if Memory File System has been loaded,
and it has index.html file in root directory
ERROR initializing platform."

The index.html file seemed to be included from the output of mfsgen above, but how can I double check that the image.mfs contains the index.html file? Is there any way to get a list of files contained in an mfs file?
