How to initial bram block?

Hi,

    I want to know whether EDK support to initial bram block's contents.

    just like that i can initial rom or ram by .coe file. I want to initial the bram block in an xps project. I don't want transfer data 

by RS232 or Ethernet.

    any one konws how to make it?

you can put the name of your MIF file you want to initialize your BRAM in the vhdl file in order EDK shynthesize the BRAM with that initial value, like this:

c_init_file_name => "rom32.mif"

where is the vhd code? you mean after the XPS generate the bram code, i change the vhd like this.and regenertae bitstream again?

you can make a BRAM from core generator and import in XPS , so after you create the BRAM in core generator you have the VHDL code
