How to write a data buffer ?

Now i am working on parallel computing , and i need to transfer some data from SDRAM to my ip.

I want to write a data buffer in my ip so i can store the temp data in it.

Can i use the slvregs created by CIP as the data buffer? Like below

I use 64 slvreg as the data cache. But i don't know whether it was a good solution? Has anyone met this problem can help me?
