In XPS,axi_interconnect_2 devices are listed in ‘umapped addresses’ field

In XPS (microblaze development),  when add axi IP to a certain number, the tool will automatically generate axi_interconnect_1 to hang the new IP to this bus, and connect axi_interconnect_1 bus to axi4lite_0 bus through axi2axi_connector_1. If you continue to add more IP than a certain number , the tool automatically generates the axi_interconnect_2 and hangs the new IP to the bus and connects the axi_interconnect_2 bus to the axi_interconnect_1 bus through axi2axi_connector_2.

The problem is that the axi device mounted on axi_interconnect_2 bus is listed in umapped adresses (refer to figure 3), even if I click on generate addressed button in the upper right corner. Import this HW design (.xml .bit .bmm) into SDK, and you can't see the define of these unmapped IP in the xparameter.h header file.

Re: In XPS,axi_interconnect_2 devices are listed in ‘umapped addresses’ field

Hi @kay_yin

It seems to a bug in the tool, the strange thing is that in the address editor seems that the IPs have the address selected but just remains unassigned to the core. Did you test on your hardware to access to those addresses? I mean the fact that the tool does not generate the addresses on your xparameters.h could be workarounded if the design has been implemented properly.
