POSIX condition variables for XilKernel

Hallo,

I'm working wiht XilKernel for my internship project and I wanted to you use condition variables to synchronize threads with following functions:

pthread_cond_waitl(pthread_cond_t *__cond);

pthread_cond_signal(pthread_cond_t *__cond);

But I have some error while compiling my source code:

C:\Xilinx\student_23\new_mjpeg\SDK2\xil_mb1\Debug/../src/main.c:210: undefined reference to `pthread_cond_wait

C:\Xilinx\student_23\new_mjpeg\SDK2\xil_mb1\Debug/../src/routing_thread.c:37: undefined reference to `pthread_cond_signal'

I looked on XilKernel datasheet and these function are not listed in Summary of Xilkernel Functions for POSIX Interface.

Does Xilkernel not support condition variables? Is there any solution to for this issue, if I need cond variables to synchronize my threads on Xilkernel?

And one more question:

If I explore the included library <pthread.h>, there are the following functions available among other:

int _EXFUN(pthread_cond_signal, (pthread_cond_t *__cond));

int _EXFUN(pthread_cond_wait, (pthread_cond_t *__cond, pthread_mutex_t *__mutex));

What do these statements mean?

Best regards
Usam

Re: POSIX condition variables for XilKernel

Can please anyone tell me, whether or not the POSIX API conditions variables are accepted by XilKernel? Do I have to implement them myself or is the any prepared solution to solve this issue?

Thanks!
