Project Peripheral Repository

What is required to have a pcore show up in the project peripheral repository?

I have two types of pcores that I am working with. There are pcores that I generate with the create ip wizard and there are pcores that I copy and edit from the xilinx edk repository.

I have generated a  project peripheral repository and can successfully add the pcores that I generated. (success is defined as having the pcores show up in the edk ip catalog under project peripheral repository.)

My problem is that when I try to add a pcore that I copied from xilinx to my repository it does not show up in the ip catalog.

I have tried every thing I can think of in the .mpd file but have been unsuccessful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Dale

Re: Project Peripheral Repository

It seems that this is not my problem. Some of my pcores show up in the repository and some don't. The ones that don't show up were pcores that I copied and modified from the xilinx edk pcores repository.

Re: Project Peripheral Repository

If the modified pcores have the same names as the original pcores in the EDK installation directory, EDK might ignore them. Try changing the names all the way to the .pao files. Good luck!
