Purchasing a Vivado 2015.2 License in the year 2019

From reading the forums, if I do purchase the Vivado Design Suite, I will get to choose between the 2019 and 2018 version of Vivado.  If the above statement is correct, how do I purchase an old version such as the Vivado 2015.2 version which is the only version compatible with my SDR (USRP x310)?

Thank you,

RG

No... The options you have are Design Edition or System Edition... And node-locked or floating respectively.

See the part #s here and details here:

https://www.xilinx.com/products/design-tools/vivado.html#buy

The associated license you'll then generate should work with any previous version of VIvado... And I'd expect it to work for a years worth of updates, e.g. through 2020.2

I've never seen a part # for a specific version/release of Vivado (or ISE, EDK, etc.)

Cheers,

bt

== edit.. Maybe you meant you can choose what version to run - not what version to buy.... Then yes, you should be able to run any current/previous version of Vivado then... And future versions for a year.
