Regarding platform usb cable

hello everybody i have a querie regarding the usage of exterme dsp vertex4 nalltech kit. Iwant to use jtag connection but along with that kit i dont have paltform cable USB. but we have platform USB for ML555 vertex-5 lxt  can iuse this cable to nallatech board ?

specifications of ML555 are model-DLC10

POWER 5V -0.15A

SERIAL XU -03049

 

SPECS FOR nallatech board required are

DSE-90 PARLLEL -4 CABLE

DLC-9GPALTFORM USB CABLE

POWER-5V 0.07 AMP

SERIAL 0HG -15558

The DLC9 is the original Platform USB cable.

DLC9LP was updated for low power

DLC9G was updated for Pb-free and low power (P/N HW-USB-G)

The DLC10 is the new Platform USB-II cable:

The Nallatech documentation was likely written before the new cable was available.

 

They should both work the same for you (subject to software support). If you have ISE 10.1 - you should already have the new driver. If not, you wil have to install it.
