SDK debugging with Petalinux core files

(Cross posting from Embedded Linux board. Hope that's ok.)

Hi all

Petalinux 2015.2

SDK 2015.2

I have a Petalinux application which generates a segfault while running on my custom Zynq target board. I can generate a core file using

ulimit -c unlimited

but can't see how to connect the SDK to it either remotely via TCF or after pulling it off the target. Usually there is a "C/C++ Postmortem Debugger" debug configuration option in Eclipse but it doesn't seem to be there in the SDK.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards

Chris

This can help if the file handle limit is set too low to launch the SDK

Are you getting error on Linux that I do not have enough file handles to open SDK
To increase this, you can use the UNIX command ulimit, for example, "ulimit -n 1024" or "ulimit -n unlimited"
Thanks and Regards

Also, you could try change the opt setting from Os to O0.

Is the tcf agent enabled in the rootfs? If so, you can then follow the steps here
