Standalone Drivers

Hey guys.

I know how to insert drivers to the standalone BSP for a new peripheral I've created.

Is it possiable to insert a new driver without creating a new peripheral?

Thanks a lot.

Assaf.

Re: Standalone Drivers

Yes it is possible. You've created a driver for a custom peripheral so you can use it as a template. The .mdd file is the primary key to defining a driver and if the mdd is not in the correct location, EDK can not see it.

Refer to the Platform Specification Format Reference Manual (ug642) to get a better understanding of the mdd format and location requirements.
