Hi,

In my understanding, linux is required for the Petalinux toolchain if you're using that and not just bare metal. Lot of vendors have the VM image for their boards available and there are guides like this: https://www.hackster.io/news/microzed-chronicles-vitis-acceleration-creating-a-vm-setup-363946fb4ede

Hi @ssjha

It depends on what you want to do in Vitis. Page 20 from the Vitis Embedded Software Development User Guide (UG1400) indicates that Vitis Embedded is supported under Windows, but not the acceleration features.

Thanks. I was looking for possibility of acceleration on windows environment without having to install ubuntu. I think this is a limitation then.
