Vitis 2020.2 & "Missing System Project"

Setup: dual microblaze instantiation (processor_0 & processor_1)

Directory structure:

root/common_microblaze_lib/

root/hardware_platform/

root/app/app-microblaze_system

root/app/app-microblaze_0/

root/app/app-microblaze_1/

To make this all work I have to create the project in Vitis and it puts everything in root/.   I then delete the projects from Vitis, move the projects in my shell, then import the projects back into Vitis.  Everything works until I try and do the second microblaze (microblaze_1) which reuses the same 'system' as microblaze_0.  When I import that project I get "Missing System Project".  If I create the app (microblaze_1) and have it create a new system, when I import the project, everything works ok.  I believe this is a bug in 2020.2.

Hi @Mark

Is the import using a .zip archive from the Vitis export?

Are there two separate import archives where each has a system project and one of the applications?

No, I'm just trying to import from a location on my hard drive to which I checked out my library from git.

@marcb

Here's a much simpler use case:

Create a library project inside a system.

Delete the project from the system.

Try and import it back into the system.

You always get "Missing System Project"
