I installed 64bit iMPACT release 4.17 on Windows 10 PC.
When I connected Xilinx adapter with Platform Cable USB II - I got message "WARNING:iMPACT:923 - Cannot find cable, check cable setup!" I try to use Cables Setup option, and I got message this this cable is not available. When I try to use Cables Setup, Advanced USB Cable Setup - it require to load or import file.
This may be a possible solution to the cable issue: If you connect the Platform Cable USB II to the PC and notice that the STATUS LED on the cable is very dim yellow, the cable driver may not be installed or you may be using an earlier version of ISE software prior to 10.1
