XPS_Timer overflow

Hi! I would like to know how long it takes to the xps_timer_0 to go from 0 to FFFF, it means how long it is when the timer overflows.  When I use the GetValue funtion I get a number that I don't know  what it means.

Does anybody can help me?

Re: XPS_Timer overflow

The timer interval formulae are as below:

Refer to the xps timer datasheet:

Re: XPS_Timer overflow

Hello.

I want to know how long my program takes to execute.

I used xps_timer connected to microblaze with 125MHz frequency.

However, the timer will overflow soon (Afrter 34 Seconds).

How to use the timer to take a long time (for example 15 minutes) while the frequency is 125MHz fixed?

Thank you.
