Xilinx Platform Studio (XPS) EDK Windows collapsed

Jump to solution

I have an old project that has issues now when opening XPS (ISE 14.3 EDK).

The AXI, LMB, etc (#4 in image below) window is colapsed and I can't expand it and the Bus Interface window  (#5 in image below) only shows the Microblaze and nothing else (i.e. missing DDR RAM, UART, I2C, etc).

The project builds fine, but these issues are going to cause problems when I need to update the project.

I creatd a new Microblaze based project and it does not have this issue.

Has anyone else seen this happen opening up an older project?

I am aware the product is deprecated, but we are maintaining Spartan-6 designs so no other choice.

After reviewing it some more I discovered that the issue was that the files were all read-only.

Hi @digitalone

I've never saw the issue before but seems quite strange but according to your information seems to be just a visualization issue... Did you move/copy the project or are you just re-opening it in the same host machine after a while?

XPS is already a deprecated product so there is no really bug fixing on this product anymore.
