Please help me uninstall Vivado 2013.2 from Fedora 17 x86, I would like to reinstall it somewhere else, also I recall
deselecting SDK but when I reinstall I would like to include SDK this time.
When I tried to run the install again, it says to uninstall first.
In the subject line is the command I tried as advised by xsetup -h for uninstall. The screenshot of the popup is attached.

No, $ ./Xilinx_Vivado_Lin_2013.2_0616_1/xsetup -uninstall
throws the same popup,
Besides the help shows the option, --unistall
Usage: Allowed options:
-h [ --help ] Produce help message
--uninstall Remove installed products
--copy_registry arg Copy project preferences from previous release
--noencrypt The project preference copy file is not encrypted

On Linux you can typically just delete the entire Xilinx installation directory and re-run the install script from the tar file to re-install somewhere else. We do this frequently on RHEL 6.4 with no issues, but your results may vary....

Thanks, the only leftover after rm -fR
was the re-install popup dialog,
Program Group Name Xilinx Design Tools/Vivado 2013.2 is already in use
Suggested value is Xilinx Design Tools 1
Presumably if the xsetup --uninstall would work instead of throwing a popup, then the dialog above would not happen during the re-install.
But thanks again, this time I've got Vivado installed in a better place and used the download that includes SDK.

I just tried the following command and it works
Use lin/ instead of lin64/ if you are on 32-bit system.
Hope that helps
