boot_hw_device XSCT alternative

Is there any XSCT/XSDB command which can load FPGA from configuration device?

I search for an alternative for boot_hw_device Vivado's command.

Hi @betontalpfa

Are you talking to have something similar to "boot_hw_device" for Zynq-7000 or Zynq MPSoC using XSDB/XSCT?

Regards

The command to program the PL in XSCT is fpga -f path/to/bitistream.bit. However, this takes the bitstream from your host machine and not flash.

You might be interested in the fpga manager:

You can create your own baremetal application to do this

Hi,

I know the fpga command, but this is a different command. I want to load from flash. It is uncomfortable to switch between the two (Vivado and SDK) console during tests.

I guess this "boot from configuration device" functionality cannot be done from SDK.

I recommend adding this functionality. What's more, I suggest to merge these two console. I whish a console which supports both Vivado, and SDK commands.
