bootloader gives checksum error while read from strataflash

Hi all,

I have a strataflash connected to my XC3S400 FPGA
I could connect it to MicroBlaze using EMC and I
Could program the flash successfully but when I load
Bootloader application into the FPGA and it reads from flash, I
Receive below error messages in all locations:

 

ERROR in SREC line: 01000557SREC has invalid checksum

Is there anybody who knows about it.

Only guess I'd have is that the srecs are swapped. Maybe do a quick manual check via XMD.

Hi,

It has past some months from time I posted this message but I want to know how I can find out that SRECs are swapped?

 

why is this process so hard?

I couldn't find a complete document which describes steps of creating flash boot loader?

I had spent lots of time on this issue once and gave up, but know I think I need to work on it again.
