license error using XPS in Ubuntu 12.04 64bit

When I open the XPS in Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit , there's error below

A license was not found for the XPS feature.

Typical causes for this error are either that there is no

license file found or that license files, which were found,

do not contain an unexpired license with the required

feature. The Xilinx License Configuration Manager

(XLCM) will be launched to assist you with

locating or obtaining a license file.

But I have the XPS license and load into XLCM.

If I ignore it and generate bitstream, I will get the error below

                ERROR:EDK - INFO:Security:71 - If a license for part 'xc6vlx240t' is available,
it will be possible to use 'XPS_TDP' instead of 'XPS'.
INFO:Security:7a - A feature for XPS was found but is for an older version.
INFO:Security:61 - The XILINXD_LICENSE_FILE environment variable is not set.
INFO:Security:63 - The LM_LICENSE_FILE environment variable is not set.
INFO:Security:68 - For more information or for assistance in obtaining
a license, please run the Xilinx License Configuration Manager
                (xlcm or "Manage Xilinx Licenses".)
INFO:Security:68a - user is esslab, on host unknown.

              ERROR:Security:12 - No 'xc6vlx240t' feature version 2013.10 was available
so 'XPS_TDP' may not be used.

In the attachment there's xinfo.txt, any suggestion to solve this?

Re: license error using XPS in Ubuntu 12.04 64bit

It seems you have a valid license. Is it floating or node-locked?

Did you change any device from the TDP?

Re: license error using XPS in Ubuntu 12.04 64bit

From the xinfo I see that the XPS license you have has a version limit of 2011.05. You can use XPS tool till 13.2 alone with this license. For more details on version limit refer to http://www.xilinx.com/support/answers/33770.html
