Hi,

Are you working with example project?

If not, elaborate your query.

Thanks,

Hi,

Also provide your steps to reproduce the issue?

And do you have complete read/write permissions for the following folder "C:/documents/"

Thanks,

Vinay

Hi,

Can you try saving it in any other folder to which you are having complete read/write permissions?

I am having the same issue. I am following the following tutorial:

http://www.xilinx.com/support/documentation/sw_manuals/xilinx2014_4/ug940-vivado-tutorial-embedded-design.pdf

When I attempt to export and launch the SDK, it gives me the same error as previously discussed in this thread. Also, when trying to move some files around and ensuring that the permissions are correct then I get this error:

An internal error occurred during: "Importing Hardware Specification".
java.lang.NullPointerException

Thanks for the help and suggestions,

Tyler Wilson

I found my solution. It was a little strange. I had a few folders named similar to this:

Project Test
Project FirstTime
Project LookHere

Apparently this seemed to confuse the SDK when exporting. I simply had to change my folder names as follows and everything worked great:

Project_Test
Project_FirstTime
Project_LookHere

Hopefully this will help someone else.
