trace c code in SDK

Jump to solution

I need to compare two projects - both on microblaze.

How can I enable the trace to see what the c code is doing?

Thank you.

David.

Hi @davidfi1,

You can use TCF profiler, or gprof based profiling. Additionally, XSDB/XSCT support profile and trace for MB. Please see mbtrace and mbprofile commands

Hi,

If you want to compare the code, you can use the following in eclipse, select the source directories that you want to compare with Ctrl Key, do right mouse button click and select Compare with -> Each Other menu item. Please let us know whether this works for you or this is what you are looking for

Regards,
Raju

Thank you,

I was hoping to compare the flow of the code by comparing events used by the profiling tool.

Is this possiable?

Thank you again.

David.
