I have a problem when trying to boot the kernel with qemu.
I have followed the "petalinux-getting-started" so i have created a project in petalinux and i have used my hdf design to create the bsp using the command petalinux-config --get-hw-description.
Then i have built the project and try to boot the kernel with qemu using the command petalinux-boot --qemu --kernel.
When linux is booting, uart console stop displaying info after: bootconsole [cdns0] disabled.
I have already read all posts about it here- i have uart0/1 aliases in device tree, my kernel config including: CONFIG_SERIAL_LINUX_PS_UART=y, CONFIG_SERIAL_LINUX_PS_UART_CONSOLE=y and i have also tried to add bootargs to system_user.dtsi, but still booting gets hang.
I am using petalinux2018.2
Any suggestions how to resolve this issue?

I have the same problem when booting a zedboard. Are there any updates regarding this? It looks like the device tree is supposed to specify the cdns driver in addition to the xuartps driver.
