Hi All,
I am a begineer in using the Xilinx ZC706 SoC. I have already booted linux made with Yocto project with meta-xilinx layer and PREEMPT-RT patch and everything is working as expected. Though we are not satisfied with the real time performance on Scheduler and Latency tests, however alternatively it could be interesting to compare with another OS like CentOS.
Does anyone guide me how can I go about booting CentOS on?

Yes we did boot centos using the custom kernel and boot.bin file made with petalinux. You can follow the process here, https://medium.com/%E9%AB%94%E9%A9%97%E4%BA%BA%E7%94%9F-touch-life/install-centos-on-zc706-board-of-xilinx-fca3b20a62f2
ALthough I want to also try booting the Centos userland images using SPL method.

Neat! So I've got mine set up like you said and it starts to try to boot up but ends up stopping during CENTOS boot up at:
"Authorization not available. Check if polkit service is running or see debug message for more inforamtion"

and a bit above that "failed to start remount root and kernel file systems"

okay hilariously here's an even easier way. Burn centos to thumb drive. Put the 3 files over on the SD card on /boot. Little fella works like a champ.
