Hello,
Im trying to make CAN work. But when i try anything it says:
no such device.
But when i do:
# ifconfig -a
can0 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00
NOARP MTU:16 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:10
RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B)
Interrupt:22
can1 Link encap:UNSPEC HWaddr 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00-00
NOARP MTU:16 Metric:1
RX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:0 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:10
RX bytes:0 (0.0 B) TX bytes:0 (0.0 B)
Interrupt:23
I have a test case where CAN0 send a little bit of data to CAN1 but they don't seem to exist as a device. I don't really know why they dont exist. I tried ip link set can0 up but then its says no such device again.
What should I do?
Greetings,
Senkoo

Are you using the ip from busybox? That one has (or had) some problems with CAN. Try using the regular ip program.
