Emmc Preferred file system to prevent read only file system

Jump to solution

Hi

I would like to know what is the best file system to use on the EMMC  and we are using vfat file system.

We write the logs to EMMC /run/media/mmcblk0p1/logs/XXX and sometimes  we get read only file system.

so we need to re-mount it.  (If we write to /tmp (RAM) - everything works)

See below mount output

"/dev/mmcblk0p1 on /run/media/mmcblk0p1 type vfat (rw,relatime,gid=6,fmask=0007,dmask=0007,allow_utime=0020,codepage=437,iocharset=iso8859-1,shortname=mixed,errors=remount-ro)

Borad Type :The board is Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC.

thanks
