Files to be used after recompiling kernel

When a Linux kernel is recompiled, the only files which are required for the new boot are

1.) Uboot
2.) Uimage

Where Uboot is supposed to be renamed as Uboot.elf and to be used as the boot loader partition while generating bif and boot.bin file.

The uimage file is directly copied to SD.

Is this right ? Only these two files.
