How to change SPI Chip select pin to its default state as '0', when not it in use on Zynq 7000

Dear Xilinx Community Xperts,

I have configured SPI via EMIO on Zynq7000 and am using Linux 4.9 xilinx kernel version,  and I want to change the SPI Chip select pin to its default state as 0, when it is not performing SPI transfers, and then change it back to SPI chip select functionality when performing SPI transfers

Because currently, If I dont change SPI CS to default state as '0', its sill high seems to be driving power for my slave device, even though the main power of the slave device is turned off

Could you please let me know how this SPI CS can be changed to '0' then back to SPI CS for spi transfers using "devmem",

Kindly do the needful as early as possible, as am stuck with this from past many days, still as of now no clues yet

Many Thanks in advance

Awaiting for your replies

Hi @srinivasan

I suggest you to have 2x1 MUX in your design... Control the Selection pin from your software.

Hope it helps..

Thanks
