How to confirm the irq numbers in petalinux?

My device is ZYNQ7000 and I run petalinux on it.

In vivado, I use IP core "concat" to connect the hardware irq to arm, and the GIC irq number is 63. Now I want to request an irq in petalinux by the function "request_irq", but what the irq number is, or how can I now the irq number?

Re: How to confirm the irq numbers in petalinux?

Hi @wjbibibi,

you can directly use the irq number mentioned for your IP in device tree(petalinux path: images/linux/system.dtb)

convert system.dtb into system.dts using below command.

dtc -I dtb -O dts -o system.dts system.dtb

you can check in system.dts file.

Best Regards
Kranthi

Re: How to confirm the irq numbers in petalinux?

Thank you for reply!

But in my project, this interrupt is just a normal output port connected to the GIC. There is no message about it in device tree. I just know the GIC number is 63(because the pl gic number is added from 61). So what should I do to solve this problem?

If you open the ps wizard, and under the interrupts you will see the Irq numbers here.

You can also do a cat /proc/interrupts. Then toggle an interrupt, and run this again. Your interrupt should increment here.
