Is there a feature similar to systemd in petalinux?

Hi,

I have a program I would like to start up like a service at start up and have it restart the program if there is an issue such as the program exiting due to a peripheral disconnecting by accident.

If the OS was debian based I would use systemd since that would meet my requirements. Howeverm petalinux does not have it as far as I can tell. Is there something that is similar to systemd in petalinux?

Petalinux is using BusyBox, wouldn't the inittab feature do what you are needing?

http://git.busybox.net/busybox/tree/examples/inittab

Thanks
