Petalinux root ram filesystem location

We are using Petalinux on the ZCU-102 with a RAM root filesystem. I am trying to understand how the kernel knows where in memory the root filesystem is located. In the following how does it point to 0x79E5000:

Loading Ramdisk to 079e5000, end 07fff0d8 ... OK
Loading Device Tree to 00000000079d7000, end 00000000079e41ff ... OK

Any help/guidance is apreciated.

Thanks,

Paul

Hi @pfincher,

Which boot mode are you using and what is your "Image Packaging Configuration" set to in petalinux-config option.

Also please provide the complete boot logs.

Thanks,
Sandeep

Hi Sandeepg,

I am using SD to get U-boot but then we are using tftpboot/bootm to boot the image. See the attached boot log.

Thanks,

Paul
