Petalinux

Jump to solution

hello experts,

I am learning petalinux development. I have Red pitaya board and i have created a simple GPIO project connected to leds.

the goal now is to boot the led and send the gpio values using linux.

I have been following petalinux guidelines and completed the following steps:

  1. create hardware on vivado - generate bitstream and export to SDK.
  2. generate fsbl on sdk and also gpio C Project.
  3. create the petalinux project and follow the guidelines.
  4. now the data sheet ask us to download the bsp for our specific board, but red pitaya bsp is not avaliable.
  5. so i follow import hardware step.
  6. configure and build the pitalinux
  7. the only thing i change is root file system from sd card because i have 2 partions on sd card one boot and second rootfs.
  8. i also follow the extraction of .gz file int the root partion.
  9. now i have boot.bin and image.ub in boot and the extracted .gz in rootfs.

note: the fsbl and bitstream file was used from petalinux_project/images/linux folder ---> should i have to use from original project (also tried it).

now when i install the sd card and power the board i end up with the console output.Sans titre.png

thats it stuckkk.

where do you think i am going wrong.
