Poor glmark2 score on ZCU104 (2018.2) with X11

Hi,

we're working with a ZCU104 board, our plan is to use Qt5 with FBdev in future. The first tests we startet with the default settings in petalinux with the provided ZCU104 board BSP (inclusive X11, with some adaptions, see below)

Problem: We see a poor openGL performance with X11.

We've cross compiled glmark2 for Ultrascale+

Start application: glmark2-es2

    glmark2 2017.07

    OpenGL Information

    GL_VENDOR:     ARM

    GL_RENDERER:   Mali-400 MP

    GL_VERSION:    OpenGL ES 2.0 "ee3a815"

=======================================================

[build] use-vbo=false: FPS: 2 FrameTime: 500.000 ms

[build] use-vbo=true: FPS: 3 FrameTime: 333.333 ms

..

[loop] fragment-steps=5:fragment-uniform=false:vertex-steps=5: FPS: 2 FrameTime: 500.000 ms

[loop] fragment-steps=5:fragment-uniform=true:vertex-steps=5: FPS: 2 FrameTime: 500.000 ms

=======================================================

                                  glmark2 Score: 2

=======================================================

[Full logfile see attached: glmark2.log]

If we start glmark2-es2 --off-screen we get a better result:

Question: Is there any issue with X11 in combination mit the Mali Lib?

Thanks for any help!

Best Regards
